Op 28 mei organiseerde de AIWW-community haar derde van vier Water Solutions webinars ter voorbereiding op de Amsterdam International Water Week op 1-5 november 2021.
Dit webinar ging over Subthema 3 'Risks and Resilience' met een focus op risico's van droogte en overstromingen, en de uitdagingen tav waterinfrastructure en het gebruik van nieuwe technologie.
"The essential focus of this subtheme is on adaptive and resilience designs of water infrastructure, to address challenges of water quality, floods and droughts. The subtheme also highlights the importance of availability and access to data-driven early warning and implementing systems. Financial investors are important and need to lead, in order to strengthen the preparedness around disasters, reduce risks and build resilience in systems and affected communities."
